Effective Ball Handling 2.0 : A Program That Changed My Life ( ball handling workout program )

Expert Author Travon Morgan

When it comes to basketball, there are two things that everyone wants to be able to do. Dunk the basketball, and have amazing ball handling ability. Everyone wants to dunk the ball like Michael Jordan and cross defenders like Allen Iverson but I've noticed that there aren't many people with these talents. Well I'm happy to say I may not be dunking the ball like Michael Jordan but I'm able to cross defenders at a high level but of course I would never compare myself to Allen Iverson.
In high school, I mostly played center and power forward and I always wondered why my coaches wouldn't let me play point guard or shooting guard. There were many reasons why I wasn't able to play the guard positions. I was one of the tallest players on the team at 6'1 and there weren't many other players that could play the center, and power forward positions. That was one of the many reasons why I wasn't able to play the guard positions but another big reason was my lack of ball handling ability.
Don't get me wrong, I was able to dribble the basketball with both hands and I was also able to get past my defender when I needed to, but my ball handling ability just wasn't up to par with some of the other players on my team. I had a big ego in high school and it was hard for me to accept the fact that there were better ball handlers on my team, but by my sophomore year I decided that I wanted to be the best ball handler on my team so I went online and looked up tips, tricks and articles and anything else I could find that would help me become a better ball handler. I started practicing every day, but I didn't see the improvement in my ball handling that I was looking for and I began to get frustrated.
One day I stumbled across a review of a ball handling program designed to help anyone develop outstanding ball handling ability in a short period of time. I decided that the only way I would know if the program works would be to try it. So I went to the website and purchased the Effective Ball Handling 2.0 program. By this time I was on summer vacation so I literally dedicated my whole two months of summer vacation to this program. Every day including the first day I used the program, I noticed an improvement in my ball handling ability. After every workout I would go to my basketball court and try out the moves I learned from the program. People starting asking me what I have been doing lately because, my ball handling had improved dramatically.
Before the end of summer I decided to try out for a local AAU team and based on my performance, the coach of the team positioned me as a shooting guard and a small forward. I couldn't believe it. In less than two months I was able to try out for a new team and earn the shooting guard position. The funny part is I was the second tallest player on the team. I was so happy about what I've accomplished, and then a couple weeks before school started I injured my knee and I wasn't able to play basketball for months. I ended up deciding not to play high school basketball that year but I knew that once I decided to return I would be ready to try out for the guard position. And that's exactly what I did.
My coach noticed my ball handling and congratulated me on my drastic ball handling improvement but he told me there were too many guards on the team and he said I was one of the best centers he had and he couldn't risk switching me to guard especially when there were so many guards and few centers. What I noticed is it didn't matter, with my new ball handling skills; I was able to unlock my full potential and play to the best of my ability.
The morale of this story is that with the right guidance and work ethic, anything is possible. If you want to improve your basketball skills I recommend the Effective Ball Handling 2.0 program, because it literally changed my life and helped me to become the player I wanted to be. Without the Effective Ball Handling 2.0 program, I wouldn't have been able to play shooting guard for my AAU team which was an experience I will never forget. The program was designed to work for anyone at any level, and I can honestly say that if it can work for me I know it can work for you.
